Automatic water valve installation
Step 1: Installing the Water Shut-Off Valve in the Pipe
-
Turn off the building’s main water supply.
-
Open the nearest faucet to release pressure from the pipes.
-
Loosen the pipe connection where the shut-off valve will be installed (e.g., before a manifold or a branch to an appliance).
-
Install the shut-off valve between the pipes (use Teflon tape or thread sealant if needed). If the valve does not fit the chosen location, additional plumbing work may be required to create a suitable connection. Ensure the pipes are dry and clean.
-
Tighten the valve moderately with a wrench. Do not overtighten, but make sure it is tight enough to prevent leaks. The valve must remain stress-free and aligned straight with the pipe axis. ✔
Step 2: Connecting the Control Cable and Power Supply

Connect the cable to the corresponding port on the valve |
Connect the valve cable to the corresponding port on the control panel |
|
Plug the adapter into a power outlet (5 V adapter) |
Connect the control panel to the power outlet (5 V adapter) |
|
Check if it starts working |
Check that the LED indicator lights up |
Step 3: Installing the Sensors
Recommended Locations:
-
Under a sink or washbasin
-
Behind a washing machine or dishwasher
-
Near a riser or water meter
-
Near a toilet (inside a cabinet or behind a wall)
-
In the basement near the water supply
-
Under pipe connection points
Installation:
-
Place the sensor on the floor or at the lowest point.
-
Ensure the sensor contacts touch the surface.
-
Connect:
-
Sensors in the small kit are already connected to the valve.
-
For Medium and Pro kits, connect the sensor to the control panel using the provided cable.
-
Step 4: Testing
-
Drop some water onto the sensor.
-
Check that:
-
The alarm activates
-
The valve automatically shuts off the water
-
-
After testing, open the valve again by pressing the button on the valve to restore water flow.
Notes / Safety Reminders:
-
Always have work performed by qualified professionals to ensure proper installation. The instructions provided here are general and may not suit all building or plumbing types.
-
Low-quality accessories (nuts, seals) or improperly sized pipes can cause leaks and may void the warranty.
-
Warranty is valid for 2 years from the purchase date. It does not cover:
-
Damage caused by misuse, careless or poor installation, or modifications
-
Damage from using low-quality or incompatible accessories
-
Damage resulting from neglecting maintenance or ignoring instructions
-
After any water leakage event:
-
Check all connections before turning the water back on. Ensure they are stress-free, properly aligned, and sealed. Remove any problematic parts.
-
If there are issues, close the valve again and consult a professional.
Testing recommendation:
-
Always test devices before final installation. Drop a small amount of water onto the sensor, verify the alarm works, and the valve closes the water. Retest after full installation.
-
Documented installation and testing reduce risks and simplify potential legal protection.
Peace of mind and convenient use!
